Awkward Encounter #1
- A guy, Simon, is bored at work, behind the counter at Starbucks. He looks over to the door as two people walk in. The first, his friend, Tyler. The second, a very rushed, professional looking Asian business woman. Tyler seems oblivious to the fact that he's walking slowly in front of her, holding her up. He gets to the counter.
- Simon: Hey man, what's up?
- Tyler: Not much man... Well, actually, last night, I hooked up with two girls. Both Asian.
- Simon looks awkwardly from Tyler to the businesswoman who is now staring at Tyler in shock.
- Simon: Oh... cool?
- Tyler: Yeah man! Two girls, that's sick. That's some Charlie Sheen shit. Although, this morning I woke up and it was a bit... red, and itchy.
- Simon: What?! Didn't you wear protection?
- Tyler: No, Simon. I didn't, I'm sorry I don't go to church with condoms in my fucking pocket.
- Simon: What the fuck? Church?
- Tyler: Yeah... I met them at a Korean church.
- Simon: Why were you at a Korean church?
- Tyler: Poon fried rice my friend, poon fried rice.
- Simon: Wow...
- Businesswoman: Can I get some service please?
- Simon: Yes, I'm sorry.
- Tyler: Yeah sorry, I'm not in the queue, I work here too.
- Businesswoman: Can I have a-
- Tyler: Is SARS venereal?
- Silence.
- Both Simon and the Businesswoman look at Tyler in shock.
I never thought I’d like a song about a lady of the night on crack so much, but kudos to Ed Sheeran.
